They simply want to have the opportunity to touch the masterpieces of guitar music without unnecessary memorization and stress, and this edition will help them fulfill their dream.
Secondly, we have arranged the musical scores in such a way that there is practically no need in page turning. When a child learns a somewhat complex piece, in the places where they have to turn the page, there are always slight stumbles in rhythm because in this matter, reflexes often dominate over conscious thought.
Thirdly, the collection is illustrated by visual artist Lydia Gribkova, who possesses talent and a rich imagination. Her drawings seems to be understandable even for children, and will inspire them for practicing. In the Cathedral of Barrios, we have brought the third part into complete accordance with the author's intent, mainly relying on Barrios's own recordings.
