Vasiliy Antipov's Quintet for Flute and String Quartet is written in a revolutionary "integrated" form. It's a double fugue in which both polyphonic and stylistic development are continuous. Stylistically, it starts somewhere in the late Baroque and ends in the early 20th century, with a touch of minimalism towards the end.
