Vasiliy Antipov: Sonata I

Vasiliy Antipov's First Sonata is quite lengthy, spanning almost 20 minutes. It consists of three parts, with the first being the longest. However, the second and third parts can be performed as separate compositions. A distinguishing feature of this sonata is the author's developed 'combined tremolo', through which classical tremolo gains an additional dimension. Each of the parts incorporates several variations of this technique, creating a kaleidoscope of different tremolo types throughout the entire sonata.
